I'm a creative director and designer based in Southern California. I'm passionate about digital and print design, as well as UX strategy and concept-driven problem solving.
I believe effective design is achieved through clarity of message and purpose. I understand that communication, compassion, and kindness are integral parts of the design process and essential for managing client and internal staff relationships. I thrive in collaborative environments.
I'm also the Director of Design for Sugar23. Founded in 2017 by Academy Award®-winning manager-producer Michael Sugar, Sugar23 is an emerging management and creative platform. We specialize in creating original, premium content across all media, incubating and investing in brands and companies, and providing strategic advisory for branding, production, and other go-to-market needs for companies across industries and stages.
Before joining Sugar23 I spent two years helping design and launch a first-of-its-kind Bluetooth audio product for DropLabs in Echo Park. I was responsible for all visual elements and expressions of the DropLabs brand in digital product experiences (apps, web, campaigns), physical products, packaging, and marketing, and ensuring that all user-facing designs and touchpoints in the user journey formed a holistic, consistent and enjoyable user experience.
From 2014-2018 I was an art director at Whalerock Industries where I created and grew brands such as Golf Media, Wonderwall, Sirius XM, Howardstern.com, and custom emoji apps for Ellen Degeneres and the NFLPA, to name a few. Other Whalerock Industries partners include Kim Kardashain West, Viacom, the Los Angeles Lakers, and Adam Savage.
Previously I worked as a senior designer at Moxie Sozo in Boulder, Colorado.
